Minimum Requirements:
●Some experience working with TK/K in a school setting is required● Ability to reliably commute to Antioch, CA● Ability to pass a criminal background check & TB test clearance● Commitment to education equity and leadership● Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
●The ability to commit to a daily set schedule.
●A desire to work with young children.
●Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high degree of integrity.
Preferred:
●6-12 ECE Units preferred, but not required.
●Associate Degree or higher, or 48 or more college units, or pass the Instructional Aide exam
●Passage of a criminal background check and TB test clearance ● Commitment to a full school year● Ability to practice open, clear, and consistent communication and commitment to• participate in professional development.• Responsibilities:● Support and maintain the emotional well-being of the students.● Provide a safe environment● Be a positive role model for struggling students● Have fun engaging students in lesson plans that support school-day learning● Run community circles based on restorative practices● Ability to collaborate with youth to support their learning and development (youth-driven• curriculum)
