Position Overview
The AI/ML Engineering Intern will join the Software Department at SubCom LLC, a team focused on developing platforms for Network Management and Digitization. Reporting directly to the Director Software Development, the intern will support ongoing innovation in network management and digitization powered by AI and machine learning. The main objectives of this position are to contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of AI/ML solutions that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of SubCom's network management and digitization platforms.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of AI/ML models.
Contribute to data collection, preprocessing, and feature engineering activities.
Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing systems.
Document project progress and communicate findings in a clear and professional manner.
Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
Explore emerging AI/ML technologies and suggest possible applications.
Contribute to the creation of prototypes, technical demonstrations, or internal presentations.
