Job Description
Alarm Monitor Dispatch Operators (AMDO) provide a variety of dispatch services for the Center for Disaster Preparedness contract.
- Ensures compliance with the contract SOW: orders, policies, procedures and operations
- Monitors and takes the appropriate response to the campus electronic security systems and building automation systems: access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, video surveillance, building utilities, elevator monitoring, etc.
- Ensures compliance with the contract SOW: orders, policies, procedures and operations
- Receives calls via the radio and telephone
- Dispatch security personnel and report discrepancies for corrective action as needed
- Issue and account for keys and locks
- Makes notification to key members of the CDP staff and external support agencies (fire, police department).
- Prepares, generates, distributes, and files the daily security staff journal on each shift
- Troubleshoot and correct electronic security system malfunctions as needed
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion
- Perform other duties as assigned.
