Alignment Technician – Acts Fleet MaintenanceLocation: Knoxville, TNEmployment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:We’re seeking an Entry-Level Alignment Specialist Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, dependable, and committed to delivering top-quality workmanship. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to perform precision wheel alignments, suspension repairs, and related maintenance services on a wide range of vehicles and fleet equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform wheel alignments and suspension inspections according to company and manufacturer standards.

  • Drive vehicles onto alignment racks, test for faulty alignment, bent axles, worn ball joints, and steering components.

  • Adjust or replace suspension and steering parts such as tie rods, shims, and joining pins to ensure proper alignment.

  • Balance wheels using appropriate equipment and install counterweights as needed.

  • Install or replace shocks, struts, and related components.

  • Operate frame-straightening and alignment tools (hydraulic jack, chassis aligner, etc.) safely and effectively.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety procedures.

  • Participate in training opportunities and assist with other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge or experience preferred (automotive, truck, or equipment maintenance).

  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn alignment and suspension systems.

  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
