About Us:
Tutor Doctor of North San Diego helps students of all ages and abilities succeed by providing personalized, one-to-one tutoring in the comfort of their own home or in community settings. We believe learning should be engaging, customized, and confidence-building.
Position:
We are seeking an experienced AP Physics tutor to work with high school students in Oceanside and Carlsbad. The ideal candidate has a strong background in physics concepts, AP-level curriculum, and test preparation strategies.
Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one tutoring sessions in AP Physics, in person

Help students understand complex concepts, solve problems, and prepare for tests and AP exams

Adapt teaching style to meet each student’s needs and learning pace

Track and report progress after each session
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing)

Experience teaching or tutoring AP Physics

Strong communication and organizational skills

Reliable transportation to travel to student homes in Oceanside/Carlsbad
