Position Overview:
The Assistant, Apparel Product Management and Sourcing generallysupportson one or two fashion departments in partnership with an Associate or Manager.
Performance requirements
Support product managers in the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery. -Assistin the identification and evaluation of vendor partners to ensure high-quality and cost-effective sourcing.
Manage communication and workflow between cross functional partners including merchandising, design, technical design, and vendors
Monitor and manage production timelines to meet deadlines and ensuretimelydelivery.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and build strong partnerships.
Assistin the development of product briefs and specifications for new and existing products.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing processes and strategies.
Provide administrative support to the Product Management and Sourcing teams as needed, including managing samples and mail.
Work Experience and education requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, ora relatedfield.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of the fashion retail industry and product development processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
