Job Description
Qualified applicants will demonstrate a working understanding of full cycle distribution business. Major areas of responsibility include detailed margin analyses by product lines and customers, operational variance analyses, financial planning, analysis, and forecasting for responsible branches, being a strategic business partner with the operations, sales, and executive leadership teams. Applicants will also need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic planning
- Preparation and presentation of financial information to key stakeholders
- Financial planning and modeling
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Internal negotiations with sales, purchasing, finance and credit
- Ensuring adequacy of internal controls and GAAP compliance
- Financial due diligence for acquisitions
- Support of operations and management with information vital to decision making
- Assist when needed to resolve operational issues
