Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Napa Post Acute | Napa, CA
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 (DOE)
Napa Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical nurse leader who is passionate about quality care, staff development, and supporting a positive, team-oriented culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and oversight
Support regulatory compliance (CDPH, CMS) and survey readiness
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to nursing staff
Ensure high standards of resident care, safety, and clinical excellence
Participate in staff training, performance management, and quality improvement initiatives
Step in for the DON as needed
Qualifications:
LVN or RN license required (California)
Prior experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care strongly preferred
Leadership or supervisory nursing experience required (ADON, Unit Manager, or similar)
Strong clinical knowledge, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Positive attitude with the ability to motivate and support staff
