Key Responsabilities
Support the daily operations of the Front Office department in alignment with hotel and brand standards
Serve as a Manager on Duty acting as the primary leader during assigned shifts
Supervise, coach, and support Front Office Team Members
Monitor arrivals, departures, house counts, and group activity
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, including VIP and "walk" situations
Conduct property tours to ensure safety, cleanliness, and service standards
Prepare schedules, coordinate breaks, and assist with coverage as needed
Review timesheets, cash handling, audits, and operational reports
Partner with Accounting and Human Resources on administrative and compliance matters
Maintain accurate shift reports and departmental logs
Support other departments as needed to ensure seamless hotel operations
What we're looking for
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of hotel experience required
Prior Front Office leadership or Manager on Duty experience preferred
Strong guest service, leadership, and communication skills
Cash handling and basic accounting experience
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and lead in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar systems
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays
Physical requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent bending, reaching, and manual dexterity
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone
