Key Responsabilities

  • Support the daily operations of the Front Office department in alignment with hotel and brand standards

  • Serve as a Manager on Duty acting as the primary leader during assigned shifts

  • Supervise, coach, and support Front Office Team Members

  • Monitor arrivals, departures, house counts, and group activity

  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, including VIP and "walk" situations

  • Conduct property tours to ensure safety, cleanliness, and service standards

  • Prepare schedules, coordinate breaks, and assist with coverage as needed

  • Review timesheets, cash handling, audits, and operational reports

  • Partner with Accounting and Human Resources on administrative and compliance matters

  • Maintain accurate shift reports and departmental logs

  • Support other departments as needed to ensure seamless hotel operations

What we're looking for

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum 1 year of hotel experience required

  • Prior Front Office leadership or Manager on Duty experience preferred

  • Strong guest service, leadership, and communication skills

  • Cash handling and basic accounting experience

  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and lead in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar systems

  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays

Physical requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Frequent bending, reaching, and manual dexterity

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally

  • Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone
