Assistant Housekeeping Manager-Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, IL

We are currently seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager.

POSITION PURPOSE: Assists Executive Housekeeper with overseeing the entire Housekeeping operations

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. 1. Provides supervision of assigned housekeeping associates to ensure job duties are completed.
2. 2. Make recommendations to his/her supervisor regarding improved methods and procedures so as to have a positive impact on guest/associate satisfaction.
3. 3. Inspects and evaluates work performance of associates to ensure standards are being met
4. 4. Trains associates regarding job duties and quality standards.
5. 5. Assists with all administrative responsibilities and completes written reports

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. 1. Previous housekeeping or hotel management experience required.
2. 2. Ability to prioritize and organize workload to ensure deadlines are met.
3. 3. Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over the performance of others.
4. 4. Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to subordinates.
5. 5. Ability to communicate effectively to associates, Bi-Lingual a plus.
