Description
- Knows and adheres to company policies, procedures practices, rules and guidelines.
- Knows and monitors safety procedures of a division.
- Able to lead and direct all tasking related to HRI Agriculture day-to-day operations.
- Supervise crews to and from job site along with work on the job site, in the shop including but not limited to tools and equipment.
- Administers and oversees employee training, coaching development plans, employee progressive discipline and other essential tasks.
- Assigns and delegates duties to employees to inspect work and ensure it meets or exceeds standards.
- Supervise cleaning of equipment.
- Schedules and implements maintenance and repair of field equipment and division facility.
- Maintain required equipment service records.
- Schedules and coordinates with division personnel in order to meet customer demands; ensures jobs can be backfilled with trained personnel as needed.
- Assists in hiring, training, supervising, evaluating performance and counseling division staff. Ensures proper orientation of staff into the organization.
- Ensures timely information flow to managers and corporate office along with completion of administrative requirements.
- Assists Manager in developing and executing policies and procedures.
- Expected to perform hard physical labor, move and unload, utilize hand and power tools, pressure washers, etc…
- Work as a team and individually.
- Operate pick-ups and small equipment.
- Assures safekeeping and proper usage of company tools.
Requirements
COMPANY REQUIRED TRAINING:
OSHA 1910.120, Safety Rules, Policy and Practices, Final Rule under subpart H of the Code of Federal Register - protection requirement for workers engaged in hazardous waste operations, including emergency response to hazardous substance incidents involving the handling, processing and transportation of hazardous substances.
Educational Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent
Required Certification/Licensure: Valid driver's license required
Experience Requirements: Experience working in construction, electrical, landscaping, farming or other outdoor occupations is preferred
Knowledge/ Skills: (qualify level of skill required for this role: entry, intermediate, advanced)
This is an advanced level position that requires the ability to work on a team in diverse situations, to understand and follow instructions. Must be able to use or learn to use tools and equipment, such as but not limited to the following: pulleys, vises, hand and power tools, mechanic rollers, acetylene tanks, wooden blocks, steel collars/shackles, steel hooks, welding equipment, grinders, hydraulic jacks, steel chains and cable, portable lights, "come-alongs," tractors, forklifts, flatbed truck, pickup truck, wheel barrow, pumps and generators
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 100 lbs.
Travel:
Subject to long, irregular hours and availability. Must be able to travel 75% of the time. Driving for extended periods.
