Description of Essential Job Functions

Assistant Manager

Quick Service Restaurant – Godfather's Restaurant Hickman NE

Reports to: Store Manager

Status: Non-Exempt

Major Responsibilities

  • Fully understand and able to perform the job description for the position of food service Customer Service Associate

  • Must be able to do fill-in shift work, including any shift during all hours of operation, seven days/week, regularly including weekends and some holidays.

  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Will be expected to lead by good example. Must consistently have a positive attitude.

  • Provides guidance to new employees and reinforcement to existing employees as how to perform daily the correct way, according to Company Policy and Procedures.

  • Assists in assuring all the following:

  1. That safety procedures and accident handing procedures are followed.

  2. All customers receive excellent customer service including quick, tactful handling of complaints.

  3. Facility and equipment are clean and inviting.

  4. Food products are properly stocked, rotated and clean. Enforces all state and local laws concerning safe food preparation and handling.

  5. All employees comply with company cleanliness, grooming and uniform policies

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and fractions.

Education

High school diploma or GED. One to three months related experience and / or training. Complete all customer service associate and other required training.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Ability

Ability to walk, reach, stoop, and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, infrequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Continuous standing for up to a 6–8 hour shift.
