About the Role

The Assistant Salon Manager helps oversee daily operations and supports the management team in leading the salon. This role is perfect for someone who loves people, thrives in a fast paced environment, and takes pride in both organization and team success. You will help create a positive work culture, support stylists and front desk staff, and make sure every guest receives the best experience possible.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily salon operations and team coordination

  • Help manage schedules, reports, and performance goals such as rebooking, reviews, and client retention

  • Lead by example and support team morale and communication

  • Handle guest concerns with care and professionalism

  • Maintain salon standards, cleanliness, and presentation

  • Support the manager and owner with payroll tracking, inventory, and promotional ideas

  • Participate in team meetings, coaching, and education opportunities

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in salon operations, leadership, or customer service

  • Strong communication and problem solving skills

  • Positive attitude and ability to motivate a team

  • Detail oriented with good organization skills

  • Comfortable working evenings or weekends when needed

  • Passion for the beauty industry and personal growth

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay from $19.50 to $22.50 sliding scale based on monthly performance
