WhatYou’llDoRelationship Development – 20%
Maintain a strong presence acrossHorizon Media teams (Business Solutions, Investment, Traffic, Operations), building cross team relationships and incorporating relevantextensions
Proactivelyanticipatesand fields requests/questions from internal teams andclients
Apply knowledge of current/previousclients’ specific business and industry to enhance and furtherrelationships
Act as day-to-day resource for client team to ensure prioritization of projects, understanding of goals and media that aligns withobjectivesto drive clientbusiness
Effectively build trust andestablishpositive relationships withclients
Act as primary resource for junior team members when faced with challenges navigating conversations with internal and external partners andclients
Collaborate withsenior leadershiptoidentifyproblems and recommend solutions, escalating situations or challengesappropriately
Lead larger team projects and initiatives, iterating and improving upon processes and workflows asfit
Social Media Strategy & Buying Oversight – 25%
OverseeRFP creation and review of social partners, proposal analyses, and partnernegotiations
Lead strategic social plan development in tandem with the Digital & Business Solutions teams
Leadteam brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration setdevelopment
Own and developPOVs around relevant trends, tools, and emerging opportunities within paid socialmedia
Maintain oversight ofmedia specific documents such as media plans,objectivesand strategies decks, and other relatedfunctions
Oversee the completion of internal team and client facing financial trackingdocuments
Manage Quality Assurance (QA) of tracking functionality and creative units toidentifyand solve anyissues
Provide education on best practices, social media principals, and industryat large
Team Development & Management – 25%
Manage and develop junior team member(s), creating growth plans and providing clear careergoals
Manage performance reviews, coaching to maximize success,identifyingtraining needs for improved performance, setting goals for careerdevelopmentand ensuring actions aretaken
Participate in interview process for junior team members roles
Guide team in setting goals and project tasks and timelines, ensuring team members have challenging, level-appropriate projects and opportunities to learn new skills, contributing to overall teamsuccess
Guide senior leadershipto develop and implementbroaderteam initiativesandgoals
Responsible for leaning into Horizon initiatives while encouraging junior team members toparticipateand engage within the largerSocialcommunity
Campaign Management & Execution –5%
Oversee junior team campaign buying from set-up to keywordselectionthrough to targeting buckets, optimization,measurementsolutionsand pacing/reporting; implement QA processes,ensuring full impact and efficiency of eachcampaign
Support in measurement planning and ensure all trafficking and site tagging isaccurateby junior teammembers
Maintain thorough knowledge in all internal buying and reporting tools, including platform interfaces and native tools for application/analysis into competitive landscape, target digital consumption support, plandevelopmentandreporting
Act as main point of escalation for junior team members when navigating through executionchallenges
Oversee and provide approval of insertion orders within internal systems tool to reserve advertisingspace
Social Media Planning – 10%
Create and present media specific documents such as RFPs, media plans,objectivesand strategies decks, and other relatedfunctions
Integrate social insights into overall planning process, incorporating data, research, and analytics into recommendationsin order todeeply understand the role marketplace media plays in larger mediaobjectives
Responsible formaintainingteam deliverablescalendars
Reporting –5%
Maintain oversight of junior team member’s data analysis and corresponding client feedback to provide recommendations andoptimizations
Act as final check point for campaign optimization and pacing, escalating challenges and opportunities asneeded
Lead in development of processes with Horizon Analytics to aggregate data and ensure standardization across Horizonaccounts
Own and oversee the development of learning agendas includingtesting methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of each campaign,proactively communicate any issues to internal teams orclients
Parse through large datasets to provide critical thinking and analysisrelativeto active client campaigns, coaching junior team members on providing recommendations vsresults

Preferred Skills & Experience
5+ yearspreviouspaid social media experience
Understanding of marketing principles,analyticsand concepts
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills
Experience buying ads on Facebook and Instagram is crucial,additionalplatformspreferred
Exposure to advanced targeting/retargeting tactics in social
Comfort owning and managing budget/investment levels in socialmedia
Experience owning the full social strategy process inclusive of working with partners,clientsand internalstakeholders
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and “sell through” ideas both internally and toClients
Strong experience navigating cross-departmentrelationships
Leadership and supervisory experience in terms of developing media professionals, including strategic and managementskills

Salary Range
$110,000.00 - $130,000.00A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
