Department/College Description
The University Advising Office leads RIT's undergraduate academic advising program and strategic student success initiatives to consistently support students' academic success, persistence towards educational and career goals, and on-time graduation. The associate director reports to the director of the University Advising Office.
Job Summary
RIT's strategic goals related to academic success, retention, and the timely graduation of undergraduate students are a high priority for the university. This position is instrumental in coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the interventions for and outreach to students enabled through the predictive analytics initiative. The Associate Director serves as the primary point of contact for workflow, troubleshooting, and process improvements associated with outreach and interventions informed by predictive modeling. Additionally, it serves as the central point of contact for interventions related to some of our most at-risk student populations.
