Overview:

Sentara Medical Group Sports Medicine First Colonial is now hiring a Full-Time, Office -Based Athletic Trainer in Virginia Beach, VA!

Hours: Monday-Friday, Dayshift. NO NIGHTS, HOLIDAYS or WEEKENDS!

Overview

The Athletic Trainer will evaluate, advise, treat, and educate athletes who experience athletic related injuries or illnesses to maintain peak physical fitness. Travel with team and be available at sports events and during practices to offer prevention- maintenance and assistance.

Education

Bachelor's degree Athletic Training or Physical Therapy

Certification/Licensure

Licensed Athletic Trainer or Athletic Trainer Certified or eligible for LAT or ATC exam
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire
Valid license in state of practice

Experience

40 hours Clinical experience preferred
