Automation Analyst Intern

The JM Family College Internship Program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team's success, learn about JM Family's companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events, and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program (May 26th, 2026 - July 31st, 2026).

Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks, providing hands-on experience and contributing to various department initiatives. They will learn about JM Family's culture, including our core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Accountability. These core values are part of our keys to success, and the skills that embody these values are what drive our success as an organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support Power Platform Projects: Assist in building and enhancing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards to streamline business processes and improve data visibility.

• Process Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with team members to identify inefficiencies in current workflows and propose automation or optimization solutions.

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis to support decision-making. Create visualizations and reports using Power BI.

• Automation Development: Participate in designing and testing automated solutions for repetitive tasks using low-code/no-code platforms.

• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document processes, solutions, and learnings to support team knowledge management and future scalability.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and contribute to cross-functional projects.

• Learning and Development: Attend networking events and/or training sessions offered through the internship program to enhance technical and professional skills.

Qualifications:

• This is a full-time position with flexible working arrangements depending on the business need.

• The ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or other degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university, with a focus in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Process Engineering. Candidates in related fields will also be considered. Must have completed at least one semester of coursework.

• Relevant completed coursework may include classes related to the role or similar.

• Additional preferred qualifications may include relevant coursework, hands-on experience, or certifications (Microsoft Power Platform Certification a plus).
