Job Description
Role Overview
The Automation Platform Infrastructure Administrator provides operational support for enterprise automation platforms, working closely with the Platform Owner to ensure reliability, stability, and effective day-to-day operations.
This role supports both Microsoft Power Automate and Automation Anywhere A360. While the initial demand may be higher for Power Automate, support responsibilities will ebb and flow across both platforms based on business priorities and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Platform Support
- Provide production support for both Power Automate and Automation Anywhere A360 automations.
- Troubleshoot automation failures across cloud, desktop, unattended execution, and infrastructure components.
- Serve as a primary point of operational support for automation workloads in production environments.
- Partner closely with the Platform Owner to implement platform standards, governance, security controls, and environment configurations.
- Support unattended RPA infrastructure, machine groups, and execution environments.
- Support and maintain DEV, UAT, and PROD environments including security roles, DLP policies, monitoring, and audit readiness.
- Serve as an escalation point for automation-related production incidents.
- Proactively identify platform risks, operational gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Infrastructure & Enterprise Integration
- Support Windows Server-based automation environments, including RDS or multi-session configurations (Windows Server 2019-2025).
- Work with network and security teams on firewall rules, ports, proxies, and access controls.
- Perform scripting and automation for operational tasks (PowerShell preferred).
- Participate in automation platform upgrades, patching, and operational readiness activities.
Operational Support & On-Call Rotation
- Participate in an on-call rotation approximately once per month.
- Provide scheduled weekend support during on-call rotations.
- Respond to automation platform incidents and operational issues during on-call coverage.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant experience, with at least 1-year advanced server systems administration on one or multiple platforms
- Server systems specification and design, implementation and support
Required Skills & Experience
Technical
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including cloud flows, desktop flows, and unattended execution models.
- Hands-on experience supporting Automation Anywhere A360 in production environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise automation platforms in production.
- Strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals such as ports, proxies, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with incident and change management processes in an enterprise IT environment.
- Experience using ServiceNow for incident tracking, change requests, and operational workflows.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or Splunk, including data gathering and log configuration.
- Experience creating and configuring Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell preferred).

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
