Automotive Paint And Body Technician (Nicholasville, KY)

R.J. Corman Railroad serves all seven North American major railroads, many regional and short line railroads and dozens of industries having rail. Services include owning and operating eleven short lines, providing emergency rail services associated with derailments and natural disasters, switching, track construction, track material distribution, signal design/construction, building switching locomotives and operating a dinner train.

R.J. Corman Railroad Group is currently seeking an Automotive Paint and Body Technician with 3+ years of experience in Nicholasville, KY.

Job Dimensions: Performs duties under supervision. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Operate RJ Corman painting equipment (i.e., paint gun, sanders, and buffers).
• Keeps track and informs the supervisor of paint material inventory.
• Responsible for keeping paint room safe and clean.
• Some travel required.

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Paint Technician: 3 years (Required)
• Experience with Automotive body repairs

Physical Requirements: Able to occasionally lift 40-100lbs.

Environmental Conditions: Performs duties at numerous locations inside and outside of shop environment.
