Job Summary
The Automotive Product Specialist is responsible for guiding customers through their buying journey by providing expert advice, product demonstrations, and a seamless dealership experience. You will be the go-to person for questions about products and services offered by the dealership with the purpose of making customers feel welcome and supported throughout their car purchasing process.

Responsibilities
- Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership
- Approach and greet customers with a positive attitude while building rapport to determine the needs of the customer by listening and asking questions
- Explain product performance, features & functions, and benefits to prospective customers
- Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs
- Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles
- Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
- Maintain ongoing professional growth and development by keeping abreast of product knowledge
- Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry and products/services offered by dealerships
- Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections & negotiating pricing
- Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills
- Interest in training sales associates and working in a team environment
- Prior automotive product/sales experience is preferred
