Job Description

Based in Mountain View, CA., NeuroPace is a commercial-stage medical device company focused on transforming the lives of people suffering from epilepsy by reducing or eliminating the occurrence of debilitating seizures. Its novel and differential RNS System is the first and only commercially available, brain-responsive platform that delivers personalized, real-time treatment at the seizure source.

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying customized Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in the Salesforce platform and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation. Experience in the medical technology industry is a strong plus. This role will be based in our NeuroPace Mountain View headquarters in Mountain View, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design and development of customized Salesforce solutions, including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Support, Compliance, etc.) to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce implementations, ensuring best practices are followed in code, security, and architecture.
  • Document technical solutions and create user guides including knowledge transfer sessions and training for key stakeholders and users of the system.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., Boomi, Mulesoft), or custom interfaces.
  • Support data management efforts, including data migration, transformation, deduplication, and quality assurance.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Stay up to date on Salesforce releases and recommend new features and functionalities to improve platform efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry-specific data protection and security standards.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
  • Proven experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and security best practices.
  • (Optional but Preferred) Experience working in regulated industries, ideally in medical technology, healthcare, or life sciences, with an understanding of industry-specific standards (e.g., HIPAA, FDA, GxP).
  • (Optional but Preferred) Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (or working toward it).
  • Familiarity with compliance and validation requirements in a medical device or MedTech context is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

$150K-$165K Compensation Range - Compensation will be determined based on several factors including but not limited to skill set, years of experience and geographic location.
