Job Description:
Main Duties include, but not limited to, locating & diagnosing problems with existing equipment. Conduct warranty and maintenance work and perform regular service work. All this while tracking and documenting their work, gathering purchase orders, and traveling to the customer.
Secondary duties include training apprentices, communication with customers, and assisting in ordering materials/parts.
Requirements:
- Ability to carry and climb a ladder up to 28’
- Sit & stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift a weight of 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License
- EPA license
- OSHA 10 certification minimum.
- 5+ years of HVAC Installation experience; Split systems, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, RTUs etc.
- Basic diagnostic skills.
- Ability to draw duct transitions for retrofits.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years commercial and/or industrial experience.
- Ability to trouble shoot, perform service and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems such as chillers, DX equipment, boilers, fan systems, refrigeration, and basic controls.
Desired:
- Chiller experience a plus
- Control/BAS experience a plus
- KY Journeyman License a plus.
