Key Responsibilities
Act as primary client contact; continually foster client-agency relationships to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
Plan and run media relations programs; identify media contacts in technology and business outlets, build relationships and secure coverage
Effectively develop full range of written materials including press releases, byline articles, speeches, client correspondence and reports
Serve as the expert leader on client teams, demonstrating industry or media-driven knowledge that directly and indirectly affects the client
Identify and nurture opportunities for organic growth and generate new business leads
Evaluate communications opportunities for senior business leaders while communicating the organization's position on key topics
Maintain a thorough understanding of clients' businesses and industries, and the industry issues that directly and indirectly affect the client
Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building a network of industry contacts and participating in relevant professional organizations
Serve as a key senior member of the account team, management and coaching of junior team members and inspiring emerging leaders in our agency
Qualifications
A minimum of 6 years of PR agency experience with at least 3 years the B2B technology industry
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Technology-related field preferably, or a related field
Excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to speak with high-level executives internally and externally
Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; a self-starter
Display and encourage creativity and innovation in self and others
Strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
