Warehouse Forklift Operator | Lumber Warehouse (2Nd Shift, 3Pm-11:30Pm)

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator experienced in loading heavy loads on and off flatbed trailers. The ideal candidate should have strong forklift operation skills and a focus on safety. If you have a proven track record in this area, we encourage you to apply.

We are looking for Forklift Operators for our warehouse located in Lakeland, FL.

Monday- Friday, 2nd shift (3pm- 11:30pm), full benefits after 60 days, paid holidays!

Pay: $18/hour

Forklift Operator will be responsible for:

• Operate a Forklift to move products and pallets safely throughout warehouse
• Ensure orders are accurate and communicate any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor
• Stage and place orders on trailer to best utilize space and maintain proper weight distribution throughout trailer for drivers to deliver product
• Ensures company documentation of loading trailer is accurate and complete
• Secures or assists in securing the loads onto the trailers and the closing of the curtains.
• Successfully passes all Novo forklift training and operate a forklift following all safety requirements established within Novo
• May assist in keeping floors clean and dry with use of floor scrubber
• Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Effectively perform all essential functions, including physical requirements
• Ability to move awkward product lengths and weights
• Experience with operating a forklift with rate rating of 6,500 pounds
• Use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment
• Basic math, interpersonal/team, and reasoning skills
• Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Flexibility in scheduling able to work overtime as needed
• Use of proper PPE and company approved tools while remaining aware of hazards and maintaining a safe work environment
