Job Description

We’re currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to play a critical role in supporting enterprise-wide accounting and financial reporting across our consolidated business units. This position will be based out of our newly established shared services office in Maryland Heights, MO.

Key Responsibilities

 

·       Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

·       Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and management of vendor relationships.

·       Monitor compliance with accounting policies and procedures at each location and department.

·       Identify opportunities for process automation, system enhancements, and technology adoption to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

·       Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial transactions and balance sheet reconciliations, including recording monthly journal entries and ensuring operating teams adhere to month-close deadlines.

·       Consolidate financial information from multiple locations and departments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the consolidated financial statements.

·       Coordinate and oversee internal and external reviews, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or progress toward CPA designation is a plus.

·       Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Experience with financial modeling and analysis tools. Sage Intacct experience a plus.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

·       Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Strong desire for success in a fast-moving organization.

·       Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
