Hourly Pay: $16.50 – $20.00

As a VitaCare Clerk, you’ll be on the front-line helping customers navigate our extensive selection of vitamins, supplements, herbs, and natural health products. This is more than just retail, it’s an opportunity to guide people on their health journey with empathy, product knowledge, and world-class customer care.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in supporting customers, maintaining a clean and organized department, and keeping shelves fully stocked. Specific responsibilities include:
- Engaging with customers—proactively offer assistance and help them compare product options
- Educating customers on the differences between brands and ingredients (note: no medical advice)
- Maintaining store presentation by dusting, cleaning, and organizing the shelves and displays
- Stocking and facing shelves—rotate products properly, match UPCs to tags, and check expiration dates
- Replenishing inventory from the back stock and updating “Temporarily Unavailable” tags as needed
- Assisting with orders and checking deliveries for accuracy
- Creating a safe, clutter-free environment for customers and team members
- Working as a team player to help the department meet service and presentation standards
What You Bring
Experience & Knowledge:
- Previous customer service experience required
- Supplement or vitamin knowledge preferred—but we’ll train the right person
- Comfortable using basic tools (box cutters, carts, ladders, etc.)
Skills & Traits:
- A friendly, approachable personality
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy setting
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- Able to read and communicate in English clearly
- Strong attention to detail—especially with shelf stocking and product rotation
Physical Requirements
- Lift items up to 3 lbs. frequently, and occasionally more
- Frequent standing, bending, and reaching from 6” to 60” shelf height
- Move products using carts and dollies multiple times per shift
Schedule Requirements
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
