Job Description

Minimum Starting Pay: $16.83

Summary

The Rehabilitation Services Outpatient (OP) assists in the routine functioning of the rehabilitation dept by assisting

the therapist with basic patient treatments, communicating with outside departments, performing

housekeeping and support functions, manages supply inventory and ordering using established computer

systems, and completing other duties as assigned.

Education

High school or equivalent (GED).

Certification, Registration & Licensure

None required.

Experience

Demonstrates ability to effectively and positively interact with a multidisciplinary staff, patients, and others;

perform as a member of a team, and possess knowledge of growth and development across the life span

highly desired. Must have basic computer skills and demonstrate ability to work independently on assigned

tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains clinic and work area in a clean, tidy and organized manner.
  • Ensures clinical equipment is available for patient care and actively manages equipment needing repair.
  • Inventories and orders supplies in clinical and support areas.
  • Assists therapist with patient care when requested.
  • Identifies and implements effective time management strategies.
  • Takes responsibility for individual performance behaviors and goals.
  • Completes hospital and department requirements.
