Pay Range $39.00-$41.00 hour plus Sign-on Bonus $10,000
About the Role:
Northgate Health Care Facility is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Assistant Director of Sub-Acute Nursing. This position supports the day-to-day operations of our short-term rehab unit, working alongside the Director of Nursing to ensure excellent care, regulatory compliance, and staff coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Support leadership of the Sub-Acute / Short-Term Rehab Unit
Supervise and guide nursing staff and care delivery
Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination
Help monitor quality metrics, infection control, and documentation accuracy
Participate in chart audits, staff education, and regulatory readiness
Serve as acting leader in the DON's absence for the sub-acute team
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) licensed
1-2 years of supervisory or clinical leadership experience in sub-acute or skilled nursing
Knowledge of Medicare, rehab care, and EMR systems (e.g., PointClickCare)
Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
Commitment to resident-centered care and teamwork
