Job Description
Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a 1st Shift Weekend Parts Coordinator in our Gadsden, AL manufacturing plant. You'll perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping raw materials/finished goods. You'll operate mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. You may utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders, and maintain inventory.

What You'll Do:
- Administer and operate the organizations' warehouses, including processing, storage and delivery of supplies and materials.
- Account for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audit goods received into warehouse.
- Oversee receipt, storage, and movement of materials for production and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
- Operate appropriate mobile equipment for the movement of materials.
- Coordinate receiving and movement of materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
- May prepare loose items/materials for shipping according to customer specifications.
- Operate appropriate size forklift.
What You'll Need:
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- The ability to read layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
- The ability to operate computer system at appropriate level.
- The ability to operate a forklift.
- Ability to maintain good attendance.
