Accounting Specialist - Accounts Payable

Join Our Team as an Accounts Payable Specialist!

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia | In-Person

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

What You'll Do:

• Enter and process approved invoices in our accounting system.
• Support and cross-train in Customer Billing, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger Accounting.
• Occasionally support front desk operations.

What We're Looking For:

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred (especially with accounting coursework).
• Strong understanding of accounting procedures and reconciliation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel); experience with Sage Construction or CMIC is a plus.
• A team player with a growth mindset, motivated by a continuous learning culture.
• Willingness to become a Notary Public (if not already).
• Must pass pre-employment process - background check and drug screening.
