Job Description
Customer Support Administrator
The CSA performs various administration tasks related to Service Billing. Tasks are performed in a professional, efficient, and timely way following JBT Marel processes and standards.
The CSA works in close cooperation with Customer Support Coordinators and Spare Parts Coordinators as needed. Primary focus of the CSA is to ensure invoicing of service-related activities including paid service, spare parts, contracts, and intercompany invoicing performed following the JBT Marel processes and standards.
This includes, but is not limited to preparing invoices, ensure invoices are sent, manually entering invoices on the portals, portal issue resolution and support. Research outstanding invoices for Accounts Receivables to ensure customer is liable and make any portal corrections as needed. Answer questions related to invoices from internal groups and process credit invoices as needed. Support Finance as needed to ensure data flow through.
Special projects as needed to support Service goals, revenue generation or finance reporting.
This position is located in the Lenexa, KS area.
What you will be doing:
- Complete all invoicing activities for spare parts sales and service visits, including labor and expenses, for both intercompany and customer direct billing
- Update cases and work orders as required by global processes after invoicing is complete
- Complete the necessary updates in customer portals as required
- Communicate invoicing discrepancies and support in resolution when applicable
- Process credit invoices as needed and approved
- Process timesheets on a weekly basis and resolve any errors that prevent hours flowing into SAP
- Support the Customer Support Coordinator, Customer Care Manager, Accounts Receivables, and other internal stakeholders regarding customer inquiries on invoices
- Other duties assigned due to need of the business
