Salary: $55,265 - $79,997/year
Job Description:
- Responsible for the competitive bid process for Construction and Capital Projects for the County in addition to maintaining contracts and communications with vendors; Assists with the training of new buyers.
- Develops and prepares public solicitation process from inception through contract aware and management for Construction/Capital Projects.
- Advises and cooperates with County departments in the evaluation of products and services including delivery, prices and vendor reliability.
- Seeks new sources of vendors for the competitive bidding process, including the searching and recruiting of Minority, Women-owned and small business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Two years of experience in purchasing, bidding, bonding procedures and supervisory experience preferred.
- Prefer experience with Workday
- NIGP certification preferred.
- Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check.
