We are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Healthcare Practice. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, helping to execute strategic communications programs for our healthcare clients to drive disease awareness, execute social and influencer programs, support data milestones and more. Your role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership and clients to create and execute campaigns that achieve client objectives, and much more. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects for multiple clients from conception to completion by anticipating challenges, troubleshooting problems, proposing solutions, offering client counsel, overseeing work quality and ensuring deadline and budget adherence

  • Assist senior staff with program development geared towards client objectives, including participation in brainstorms and recommending new ideas

  • Demonstrate knowledge of client's business, including its competitors and their products, public opinion/market trends, influencers and earned and social media trends and understanding of how those factors may impact client's business

  • Exhibit proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading to produce high-quality content for both internal and external communications

  • Oversee account management, including call agenda and recaps, and monthly activity reports

  • Contribute to the development of core materials including infographics/fact sheets, press releases, key message documents and social media content

  • Help clients achieve their goals by creating pitches, securing media placements, and building media relationships

  • Assist in the development of results reports including assessing impact, compiling earned and social media KPI statistics and sharing insights with the team

  • Show a high level of responsiveness and communicate with clients, supervisors and account teams in a clear and timely manner

  • Assist senior team members on tracking and monitoring financials

  • Delegate work to junior team members, as appropriate, and oversee work products to ensure quality and consistency

  • Help coach, support and motivate junior staff to produce quality work

  • Express positive expectations of others and give encouragement/recognize accomplishments

Qualifications

  • A minimum 2+ years of experience within healthcare/pharmaceutical public relations/communications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, biology or a related field

  • In-depth knowledge of product communications, patient advocacy in the oncology space

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and organizational skills

  • Promote good working relationships and support collaboration within the team

  • Demonstrate reliability, accountability and ownership - go the extra mile to achieve team objectives

  • Experience and knowledge in public relations campaigns related to therapeutic areas including oncology, diabetes, mental health, infectious disease, immunology, or neurology

The anticipated salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $65,000 - $80,000. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills, abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications. In addition, a range of medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available by the company.
