- Work with DevOps and Security teams to ensure best practices in IAM, Secrets Management, and PHI handling
Who You Are and What You Bring:
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience with Python
- 3+ years of engineering leadership/management experience
- Deep experience building integrations with external systems in healthcare, fintech, or similarly regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB)
- Hands-on experience with SSO and identity federation (SAML, OIDC, AWS Cognito)
- Familiarity with EHR systems and HL7/FHIR standards
- Track record of building secure, scalable APIs and services
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience integrating with Epic via APIs or Bridges
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2)
- Background in event-driven or microservices architectures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor engineers at different seniority levels
Why Join Arine?:
- Mission-driven company improving healthcare outcomes at scale
- Collaborative culture emphasizing mentorship, growth, and technical excellence
- Modern tech stack with opportunities to influence architecture and direction
- Competitive compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits
Remote Work Requirements:
- An established private work area that ensures information privacy
- A stable high-speed internet connection for remote work
- This role is remote, but you will be required to come to on-site meetings multiple times per year. This may be in the interview process, onboarding, and team meetings
Perks:
Joining Arine offers you a dynamic role and the opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and shape its future. You'll have unparalleled learning and growth prospects, collaborating closely with experienced Clinicians, Engineers, Software Architects, and Digital Health Entrepreneurs.
