Earth Fare Team Members
At Earth Fare Our Team Members ensure that our customers' visit to our store is fulfilling, having had all their questions answered and their shopping needs met. We hope that each customer leaves with a sense of having experienced community, knowing that we are excited to see them again soon.
Earth Fare's Mission is helping people live healthy lives. Our Team Members guide our customers to select not only healthy food they can trust, but products for wellbeing and the household that are held to the same high standards as all of the food on our shelves.

Contributions
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, address their needs, and answer questions about products and store policies
Equipment Operation: Skillfully operates slicers, ovens, and other equipment, ensuring safe and efficient use
Product Preparation: Prepares bakery items accurately and attractively, following recipes and customer specifications
Packaging Skills: Packages food items neatly and securely, maintaining product quality and presentation
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the natural and organic products sold in the store to assist customers effectively
Food Safety Knowledge: Adheres to food safety standards and regulations, ensuring all food products are safe for consumption
Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the bakery and kitchen area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and provide support as needed
Team Work and Cross Training: Participate in cross training to gain knowledge and skills in multiple departments within the grocery store, such as produce, bakery, and customer service. Assist in other departments as needed, ensuring seamless store operations and consistent customer service. Adapt to varying roles and responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support team members across different areas of the store
Required Knowledge and Experience
Customer service experience preferred
Ability to safely operate bakery equipment
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards preferred
Environmental Conditions
Works in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
May work in environments of extreme heat or cold for short periods of time
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat
Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads
Must be able to stand and be on one's feet during the workday
