The Bank Security Officer is responsible the development, implementation, and administration of the Bank's Security Program (including establishing procedures for opening and closing facilities, responding to emergencies and incidents), and ensuring proper maintenance and operational efficiency of the Bank's facilities through the management of third-party vendor relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Establish procedures for retaining a record of robbery, burglary or larceny committed or attempted against the Bank.
- Manage and implement the Bank's Security Program for all offices, facilities, departments, and functions consistent with all state and federal regulations and other industry-standards business and security practices.
- Establish, supervise, and maintain records of the operation, testing and control of all security devices in each office ensuring that all devices equal or exceed minimum standards regarding security devices.
- Provide initial and periodic training of employees in their responsibilities under the Bank's Security Program including appropriate response procedures during and after emergencies.
- Coordinate the installation, testing, maintenance, and operation of security devices in coordination with the Bank's security vendor.
- Coordinate and oversee the Bank's property management, security and other third-party relationships to approve new projects, assess the performance of facilities vendors, and liaise with office managers to solve facility issues and security vulnerabilities.
- Establish, schedule and supervise a continuous instructional and training program for the Bank's physical facility security controls.
- Provide routine reports to management, the Chief Compliance Officer, and the Board of Directors as to the effectiveness of the Bank's security program and facilities controls.
- Design, implement, and administer a security violation program containing appropriate violation forms, reporting forms, damage control reports and after-action reports in conjunction with Human Resources.
- Respond to requests from the Bank's compliance department.
- Other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Third party relationships for property management, security and facilities support.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in property management, law enforcement or related field.
- Supervisory or management experience in the banking or financial services.
- Experience with development and enforcement of security policies and procedures in accordance with the Bank Protection Act preferred.
- Prior law enforcement experience preferred.
- Prior property management experience a plus.
Computer and Office Equipment Skills
- M365 (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Physical security appliances (Hikvision, eMerge, etc.)
- Copier/Scanner
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
First responder or industry recognized certification (CPP, PSP) is a plus.

Salary Description
$85,000 - $120,000 annually
