Apply Today!Position: Basil Ford Pro Elite Automotive Technician/MechanicLocation: Basil Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center, 1540 Walden Ave, Cheektowaga, NY 14225Automotive Technician/Mechanic Compensation: Between $80,000 and $160,000 Annually (Based on knowledge, experience, store franchise, and volume)Schedule: Full TimeAutomotive Technician/Mechanic Job Duties:
- Perform in depth diagnostics using Ford factory tools
- Diagnose and repair issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, electrical, and advanced driver-assistance systems
- Work on Ford commercial vehicles like Transit, Super Duty, E-Series, F-Series
- Service high-mileage heavy duty vehicles used in fleet operations Handle upfitted vehicles with special equipmentMaintain uptime and quick turnaround for customersPerform thorough vehicle inspections, fluid changes, tire rotations, brake checksEnsure vehicles meet DOT requirementUtilize factory tools and service information resourcesPerform software updates and calibrationsQualifications:Ford STS or pro level certificationPro Elite StatusASE certifications3-5 years working on Ford vehiclesExperience in diesel and gas engine repairs, especially on commercial vehiclesAdvanced knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, diesel engines, hybrid systems and commercial chassisProficiency in using scan tools and diagnostic equipmentWillingness to continue ongoing Ford trainingMust have basic toolsMust have valid NYS Inspectors LicenseValid Driver’s License required for all positionsBasil Benefits:
