You'll support research sales representatives by providing expert technical knowledge and product recommendations, ensuring flawless customer interactions and happiness.
Key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and maintain effective customer relations within the assigned territory
- Implement sales strategies to meet targets and expand business
- Provide technical information and recommendations for customer applications
- Introduce new products and services to customers
- Manage pricing and profitability within the territory
- Maintain accurate records and communicate with the supervisor as needed
Keys to Success:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the sciences, M.S. or PhD preferred
Experience
- 5+ years of sales experience in the research laboratory industry or lab experience
- Strong knowledge in Proteomic, Genomic, Gene expression, and tissue culture is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, written communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and the internet
- Organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel to customer locations
