Supply Planning and Logistics Analyst

Job Summary

We’re seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Planning & Logistics Analyst to join our growing team. This role is a critical connector between product supply, order fulfillment, logistics partners, and retail customers. You'll manage end-to-end supply planning, vendor and fulfillment center performance, and customer order execution across major retail and eCommerce channels.

As we are a growth-stage start-up, we are open to considering alternate job levels for this role for the right experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning 

• Translate sales forecasts into executable supply plans (Planning Books) that align with inventory targets and product availability goals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply readiness for product launches, promos, and retailer events.
• Monitor production timelines and inventory health across multiple channels (DTC, Amazon, Sephora, etc.).

Vendor Management

• Serve as primary liaison with contract manufacturers, component suppliers, and packaging partners.
• Track vendor KPIs including lead time adherence, fill rates, and quality issues.
• Manage vendor scorecards, performance meetings, and escalation processes in collaboration with Procurement.

Fulfillment Center Management

• Act as the main point of contact for 3PL partners on inbound shipments, dock scheduling, and inventory receipt.
• Coordinate internal order tracking, inventory movement, and fulfillment center reporting.
• Review and manage 3PL performance metrics including dock-to-stock, order accuracy, and SLA compliance.
• Proactively identify fulfillment issues and lead resolution efforts with internal teams and warehouse partners.

Customer Order Management

• Oversee order flow from entry to delivery across all channels including Sephora, Amazon, and DTC.
• Partner with Customer Service, Sales, and Fulfillment to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
• Monitor EDI transactions, retailer compliance requirements, and shipping deadlines for key accounts through scorecard management.
• Investigate order issues (shortages, late shipments, returns, damages) and implement corrective actions.

Logistics & Transportation Coordination

• Manage domestic and international shipments via freight forwarders and carriers.
• Ensure proper documentation and routing for customs clearance and timely delivery.
• Support freight rate negotiations and identify opportunities to optimize shipping modes and routes.

Analytics & Reporting 

• Build dashboards to monitor inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, supply chain KPIs, and channel-specific performance.
• Support S&OP meetings with insights on supply, demand shifts, and logistics trends.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement across planning, fulfillment, and logistics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in supply planning, logistics, or order operations (beauty, fashion, or CPG preferred).
• Familiarity with retailer portals, EDI systems, and DTC eCommerce order flows.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Anaplan is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and proactively develop solutions to improve supply chain performance and address operational challenges.
