Job Description
Summary: Dime Community Bank ("Dime") is currently hiring a Senior Relationship Support Specialist- Commercial Banking at one of its Midtown offices in Manhattan. The Senior Relationship Support Specialist- Commercial Banking will support the Lending Group Leader, and heads of various areas of specialty finance and their Relationship Managers in their development of new loan business and the servicing of existing clients. Previous experience supporting specialty finance (lending).
Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $67,000 to $90,000 annually. The exact compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, and location.

Responsibilities:
- Uploading of new and existing client financial information into Sageworks in order to maintain current client credit files on existing clients and to establish new, prospective client workflows necessary for a new New Deal Memo.
- Work with the Relationship Managers in the creation of a New Deal Memo for presentation to senior management.
- Assist Relationship Managers by reaching out to prospective clients to obtain information necessary to analyze new loan requests and to obtain necessary information from existing clients needed to complete annual renewals and reviews of loan facilities.
- Assist Relationship Managers with the loan closing process.
- Provide customer service to clients, including interacting with other Departments to resolve issues.
- Learn to extract upcoming maturity and past due reports and data from Sageworks and work with Relationship Managers in tracking upcoming loan maturities to allow for the timely preparation of annual renewals and reviews to assist in the monitoring of past due loan payments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience supporting specialty finance (lending).
- Credit training or significant experience in credit analysis. (May be completed while employed at Dime.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn other bank specific software.
