Job Description

Position Summary

The LPN is responsible for the supervision of all nursing activities during each shift and supervising CNAs providing direct care to residents.

Duties/Responsibilities

Responsible for admission, transfer, and discharge or residents to and from Four Seasons.

Responsible for administering medications and treatment, and maintaining proper charting for the unit, in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.

Responsible for assisting in maintaining the Four Seasons and BHI's facility and nursing care philosophies, through quality nursing.

Responsible for maintaining high standard of resident care.

Responsible for all mandated Four Season, Federal and State annual hours of in-service education. Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family and staff.

Qualifications

Graduate from accredited school of nursing

Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required

Current IN nursing license

CPR certified

Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Must enjoy working with the senior population
