Job Description
Medical Assistant – Bilingual Preferred
Salary: $45,000–$55,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Jackson Heights, NY
Position Summary
We are hiring a Medical Assistant to support a busy pediatric office. This role focuses on maintaining patient flow, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with pediatric care. Fluency in Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, Uzbeki, or Arabic is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Record vital signs and maintain accurate patient charts
- Prepare exam rooms and assist during pediatric visits
- Administer vaccines and perform routine lab work
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, check-ins, and follow-ups
- Facilitate communication between families and clinical staff
- Restock supplies and keep work areas patient-ready
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent training completed
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
- Reliable transportation to travel between two practice locations
