Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced BOX Truck Driver to join our team. As a BOX Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to all over the I.E area. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers.
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid California driver's license - with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a BOX Truck Driver
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Capable of heavy lifting and moving of goods
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines
As a Driver, your primary duties would include the following:
- Drive transfer materials to locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Deliver and pick up materials from locations and communicate courteously with customers.
- Complete delivery paperwork and daily logs.
- Work with the dispatch team to ensure product targets and deadlines are met.
This would be a good opportunity if you:
- Have the ability to follow specific verbal and written instructions.
- Have had a Class C license for at least 3 years, with a clean driving record.
This position requires some physical abilities including:
- Ability to be seated driving for the majority of the workday.
- Ability to lift or move 25-50 pounds.
- Ability to reach, feel, grasp, grip, carry, push, and pull.
- Ability to drive 26" Box trucks.
Schedule: Monday - Friday available to work 8am - route is done.
Pay Rate: $18.00
- Required - Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
