Job Description:

Responsible for providing clerical and secretarial support to the administrator. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele. Essential Physical Requirements: • Occasional lifting five (5) to twenty (20) pounds • Frequent sitting, standing • Occasional bending, squatting, reaching, stooping

Position Specific Information (if Applicable):

This position is for a discipline secretary assisting with reports, discipline letters, documentation in IC, attendance - truancy, in house suspension etc.

Responsibilities:

  • -- May manage daily substitute teacher activities and records teacher absences.
  • -- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • -- Respond to telephone calls, route calls, take messages and assist staff, parents and community with concerns and questions.
  • -- Provide information through daily bulletin and other means to staff, students and others.
  • -- Provide clerical support to the assistant principal and administrative assistant.
  • -- May schedule events on master calendar regarding athletic events and activities and providing information to various personnel and community.
  • -- May assign student lockers and processes student I.D. cards.

  • All salary amounts listed above are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
