Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on live haul forklifts and other related equipmentPerform routine preventative maintenance and inspectionsMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationRespond quickly to equipment failures to minimize downtimeEnsure all equipment meets safety and regulatory standardsWork closely with operations to coordinate repairs and maintenance schedulesMaintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required, technical certifications a plus2+ years of experience as a forklift or heavy equipment mechanic (live haul or agricultural industry experience preferred)Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnosticsAbility to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environmentMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying weather conditions
