Assistant Controller Responsibilities:
- Assist the Corporate Controller in directing the organization's accounting functions and corporate financial reporting.
- Serves as plant controller for a business unit, including general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensures that accounting policies and procedures are documented and followed by the organization.
- Responsible for developing staff.
- Prepares schedules and works directly with external auditors.
Assistant Controller Requirements:
- Integrating and implementing accounting / financial tech solutions Bachelor's degree.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
- 3 years public accounting audit experience.
- Construction industry experience preferred.
