Job Description
Reports to:
General Manager
Qualifications:
- Current nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred)
- Valid Yoga or Pilates certification will also be considered
- Previous experience leading group fitness classes
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to instruct participants of all fitness levels
Special Skills:
- Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels
- Strong customer service skills
- Good verbal communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead safe, effective, and engaging group fitness classes
- Maintain current certifications and continuing education as required
- Adhere to instructor sign-in/sign-out protocols
- Uphold all club policies, procedures, and standards
- Represent and embody the Crunch brand, aligning with our mission and values
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist members or refer them to management when necessary
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times
- Comply with guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook
Meetings:
- Attend all the Department Meetings
- Employee Training Meetings
