Role Overview - FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer/Production Specialist:
This is not a traditional graphic design position. As a Graphic Designer/Production Specialist at FASTSIGNS, you will play a pivotal role in transforming ideas into dynamic visual expressions while also engaging in hands-on production tasks. Your creativity and technical skills will contribute to a variety of projects that captivate and inform audiences. Here's how you will contribute:
- Produce high-quality, computer-generated graphics and vinyl designs for print and application.
- Set up printers and other production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and output.
- Handle heavy media rolls and other production materials, demonstrating your physical capabilities and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with client designs, adapting or creating original layouts to meet specifications and aesthetic preferences.
- Optimize the design layout considering size, style, and production requirements to ensure impactful visual outcomes.
- Conduct meticulous quality checks before finalizing projects, ensuring the accuracy of materials and output settings.
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive customer logo library, ensuring seamless conversion and storage of graphic files.
Ideal Qualifications for a FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer/Production Specialist:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in graphic design and/or production roles is preferred.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and other design tools.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, multitask, and work independently.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy media rolls and engage in hands-on production.
Customer-Centric: Capacity to determine optimal output methods tailored to client needs.
Adaptability: Comfortable working under pressure to produce high-quality work efficiently.
Screen Time: Capability to consistently sit and engage with a computer screen for periods exceeding four hours.
