About the Position
Dexis Professional Services (Dexis) is seeking an Office Services Professional who will be responsible for providing various administrative services, including official correspondence, maintaining schedules and calendars, and numerous other duties for senior OUSD(A&S) principals.
The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) is responsible for leading the U.S. Department of Defense's (DoD) efforts related to research and development, advanced technology, developmental test and evaluation, production, logistics, installation management, military construction, defense procurement, acquisition policy, environmental and nuclear security, chemical and biological matters, operational energy plans and programs, corrosion policy and oversight, human capital initiatives, as well as small and disadvantaged business management. To accomplish this mission, OUSD(A&S) requires administrative, analytical, and strategic communication support services.
The position will be based in the DC metro area and is part-time. It is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for OUSD(A&S).
- Maintain assigned Outlook and portal calendars for multiple departments and divisions.
- Monitor due dates, coordinate, and assist in completing official correspondence and documents for signature, including letters, notices, instructions, and memoranda.
- Support assigned fitness reports, performance evaluations, awards, training, personnel, security, and facilities support.
- Answer telephone calls and refer inquiries to the appropriate individuals within the office.
- Assist in completing, tracking, and following up on assigned OUSD Action Packages and Division documents in routing.
- Maintain portal sites, documents, links, libraries, announcements, lists, and contacts on a weekly basis.
- Perform additional administrative duties, including agenda management, meeting coordination, information and content management, tasker management, office and document management, facilities and personnel management, security and travel management, customer relationship management, and operational support.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience providing documentation services in support of government agencies.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred but not required.
