Americas Billing Sr Analyst

Location: Bogota

About Your Business Area/Department:

Execute and oversee billing and incentive activities for Amadeus to safeguard and maximize company revenue, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

Serve as a key reference for colleagues by providing guidance and expertise, supporting team members effectively, and collaborating closely with finance partners.

Ensure strategic communication with OTC and other finance areas to align objectives and achieve major organizational goals.

Summary of the role:

  • Manage billing processes for assigned countries.
  • Handle internal and external customer queries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Support team members by sharing knowledge, assisting with escalations, addressing customer inquiries, and providing technical guidance.
  • Take ownership of billing SLA compliance, fostering cross-team collaboration within OTC to enhance efficiency.
  • Demonstrate cross-Americas expertise, executing billing activities and processes for both Latin America and North America as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the evolution of OTC by raising requirements and change requests (CRs).
  • Collaborate with travel agencies, finance, commercial teams, controlling, and other stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
  • Manage the monthly billing cycle, including closing and reporting activities.
  • Assist in planning, directing, and implementing procedures to improve operational performance.
  • Work together with other finance areas and internal customers to ensure positive Key Performance Indicators in line with agreed Service Level Agreements for operational Billing processes.
  • You are a business partner for internal departments and customers, providing support and advice for all operational Billing related topics.
  • You drive, collaborate and give input on the evolution of Order to Cash related processes.
  • You are eager to work on local and international projects.

About the ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Finance role, ideally related to Billing, Collection, OTC or similar.
  • English bilingual
  • Fluent Spanish
  • Leads by example. Interested to master the daily activities of the department. Ready to go an extra mile to obtain extraordinary results
  • Problem solver identify new requirements, identify problems, analyze, prioritize and solve them.
  • Proactiveness and initiative.
  • Excellent communication, conflict management and team development skills.
  • Expert level SAP, Excel, Salesforce and Power BI are a plus.
